What we collect, and why.

Two services collect information for us, and they collect different things for different reasons. Nothing is used beyond what is described here, and nothing is ever sold.

When you subscribe, beehiiv stores your email address, along with the utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign values on the link you arrived through, and the site that referred you.

The address is used to send you the newsletter. The attribution values are used to know which channel worked — whether a printed card, a partner's counter or Instagram brought you here. Neither is sold or shared. Every issue carries an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately.

The tip form is hosted by Tally. It collects whatever you choose to put in it: a name, an email address, a phone number, a city, and the text of what you send.

That information is used only to follow up on your submission. It is not added to the newsletter list — the form says so itself, and the two should never disagree. If you want the newsletter, subscribe on the front page.

Please don't send residential addresses, government identification numbers or medical information through the form. We don't need them, and a tip form is not a secure channel.

It names no law and claims compliance with none. It describes what actually happens to what you send us. If that changes, this page changes with it and the date below moves.
